I definitely know what crazy is

I like to believe the world is wonderful. I know some world-weary adults would love to disagree, but to the eyes of a kid, this beautifully blue-green planet is but a big playground. Yet, somewhere along the line, the world-worried adult decides their opinion, their view matters more. To me, that's the reason why a heart-less cock-roach bureaucracy has determined a child must suffer through 12-24 years of filing paperwork before they're allowed to be a valued member of society, to have a say in how it's run. Sadly, by that time there's no longer a heart-full child with kaleidoscopic eyes; the windows to the soul are dirty and grey and belong to a husk of former dreams, loves, innocence and laughter, an adult. This is absurd, right?
